What extremes would you go to for a Tigers Premiership?
« on: December 03, 2007, 11:42:41 PM »
If you had to do a deal with some mythical creature (I would say the devil but that would be a stereotypical typecast) with the reward being
sitting in the front row watching our tigers win a Premiership, what would you offer as the ultimate sacrifice?

Offer up as many sacrifices as you like.....

Me, I would start off with eating a loaf of pubic hair sandwiches.  :chuck Thats probably the worst thing I can think of at this moment.

Nothing is worth that! I still haven't forgiven Essendon for losing in 1990. I don't care how good a team people say they were or how many premierships they have won since, that one single soft pathetic act has marked them as losers for all eternity!

You wouldn't allow that to happen if it meant you knew you'd win it the next season?

It's a painful thought but I'd do it in a heartbeat if it didn't mean I had to wait another 27 years.

Have we resorted to this people?
Haven't we been to hell and back since half time of the 1982 Grand Final?
If we can get through the last 25 years and still laugh we don't have to resort to eating pubic hair sangas and servicing the Smelly Sardine herself Caroline Wilson whose father may I say started this rot in the first place. Personally I would not touch her with a 10 foot pole that was insulated 10 times over but anyway that's another thing............

The off field is starting to turn and the vibe around the club and about the club is looking positive so if that is an indicator then on field will turn around very soon also. Now going back to what I would resort to for us to win a flag well I'll hastily take offers if we are less than a goal down at the 31 minute mark of the last quarter of the Grand Final cos I think by by 2015 our 11th Premiership will have been attained.
Keep your promises lads except the losing to Collingwood in the Grannie of course. You won't deal with the Devil himself but Collingwood winning a flag? You may as well have slept with the Devil Mr Magic.

Each to their own.
If it was the choice between that and not seeing another one ever I would do it.

Seeing my team lose a grand final sure beats the heck out of servicing Caro! :lol
