My daughter got caught up in them again this arvo  >:(
The school where she teaches got water bombed and they were held up there for a while, copping embers and pretty scary
But I guess it was the best place to be at a school on the mountain because they had protection from cops and the fire crews.
There's some creep up there doing these and I'm so glad there was hardly a wind up there this arvo because it could have been a different story
Just got home after being up there trying to find her.
They evacuated to the Knox Netball Centre and I found her there  :thumbsup

I can't even imagine the worry your daughter and you must be going through Moi

You take care of yourself :thumbsup

Thanks WP, it was a scary afternoon, but she is okay.

Glad to hear you and your daughter are okay Moi  :).

Geez I hope they catch the sickoes lighting these fires >:(

I agree that if you are in the area to look after yourselves. And always remeber that a house or Home can be rebuilt but to lose a member here can't be repladed.
And to the sicko's that light these fire's I honestly would just take them to the back of the cop shop and shoot them.
Why should we pay out money to defend these A -hole's.
I know this will not be allowed but then I would take out 25% of their wages each week for the rest of their horrible live and this even means when they are a pensioner or decide to go  on the dole. Make them pay for the rest of their lives. So they have an ever lasting reminder of what they have done.
Just take care and know the rest of Victoria is with fingers crossed that it eads quickly. From the North West of the state.

A trainer at training today told us he knows someone who lost 9 family members  :(. It's just something the rest of us can't comprehend.

And if it was deliberately lit, you could totally understand them wanting to do unthinkable things to the animal  :'(

You better believe it. I think even shooting is too easy for moron's that do that.
Strip them off and then paper cut them until they stop crying, then start again and again and again. You get the picture.
I think that would be a good one.

Personally, I'd take them out to their own fire and just drop them in the middle of it.... and leave them there...

Paper cuts hurt like hell and doing all over the body will hurt even more.
Just imagine doing it between the fingers and toes and other sensitive area's.
And this would last a lot longer to.
Make them suffer like the ones that have lost lives and belongings.

Take care on Tuesday to everyone who either lives or has family members who live in fire prone areas. The forecast is for high temperatures and strong northerly winds before a cool change and strong southerly winds. Get out early if you think it's best. They are saying the conditions could be close to a repeat of Feb 7  :help  :(.

Did anyone else receive a txt message from VicPolice? SEN said all mobile providers are sending warning messages to their customers.

"Extreme weather in Vic expected Mon night & Tues. High wind & fire risk. Listen to Local ABC Radio for emergency updates."
