What difference does it make Moi????
Whether we keep Wallace or not it is obvious the club is EXTREMELY DEFICIENT in a little thing called PROFESSIONALISM. Unfortunantely the lack of it has stifled and development our footy club has needed to take. Currently it matters not who is coach or whatever ,we are going down the well travelled path of mediocrity failure unprofessionalism. Question is if anyone comes to coach the club will they have the aggots to separate the on field from the off field. Furthermore will the off field stabilise itslef on these new appointments or will individual vendettas and pursuing of own interests intefere. I know I as a fan have had enough of it. All I have heard is we will do this..... and this..... and this.... and this will be 26 years with 2 inals appearances. Even Fitzroy have had more since 1982. It hurts me to watch us fall short all the time. Perhaps its time for the fans to make their voices heard. Perhaps if 15000 members did not sign up next year......................
You can't separate the on-field from the off-field. The club needs to function, as you say HT, professionally as a single unit to succeed in both areas. It needs to stick to long term planning and not tear everything down and start again whenever there's a step backwards. Success isn't built monotonically especially when you have a young side. Young sides are frustratingly notorious for being up and down.
What's also laughable about this "Richmond people" push is favourite sons like Hafey, Bourke, Patterson, Sproule, Jewell (twice), KB and Northey have been burnt moreso than any outsider in the past 26 years. Add other former Tigers who tease us before continually declining requests to comeback yet these coterie clowns still pine for them
. This "Richmond people" nonsense is all just nostalgic feelgood garbage. LOL limiting yourself to people from the worst performed 1/16th of the competition over the past quarter of the century to take the club forward
