RICHMOND v HAWTHORN

Polo didn't play for Coburg today so unless he's just been kept aside just in case there might be a late change tomorrow.

I'd prefer Polo in than Jacko but I hope we're just keeping Deano aside in case for Sunday and that Foley is okay.

not playing Polo is going to cause damage to that lad
l hope he walks out the door & finds a club which will let him show his talent,  cause Richmond dont deserve him if they treating him like that.

Selection panel are a bunch of nutcases

I agree Tigermonk. I think we should encourage all our talent young players to spit the dummy if they don't get things handed to them on a silver platter.  Actually lets suggest to Lids, Cotch, Foley etc that they should all leave if they are expected to work at all or they are asked to make sacrafices for the team at all... ???

Come on Monky - you are smarter than that.

Polo needs to continue to fight for his place in the team and wait until a spot opens up. He will be in our starting 22 soon enough if he earns it but until then he needs to continue to put pressure on the other midfielders with good performances in the two's.

We want to build resiliant players who never give up, drop their heads or look for the easy option. If our players start to get the sooks up becasue they don't automatically get a spot after a week or two playing for Coburg then perhaps you are right Tigermonk - Polo should be moved on.

For our sake and his, regardless whether he plays this weeks or next year, he keeps fighting to become a better player and earn his stripes for our club.
