Wasn't saying otherwise

Still, nice few tackles at key times

Must have taken it the wrong way  :thumbsup Pettard has been pretty solid for us for a while now. Took a few people to come to terms with it but good to see him getting some credit

Ellis reaps benefits of hard work

August 11, 2014

“He (Brandon Ellis) had a couple of issues earlier this year, and last year, with contested ball,” Petterd told AFL Live.

“To his credit, he’s worked on that with ‘Choco’ and a few of the other boys.  Matty Thomas has taken him under his wing.

“He’s worked on that, so now I think he’s becoming an all-round player.”

I'm more than happy with Thomas working on teaching him about contested ball, that's not Thomas' short suit.

Just a call out to Brandon's game - 31 touches, 4 inside 50s and numerous important touches across the back 50.
Bag him all you like - the kids a star!
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Has become a true gun. If he keeps this up he's a genuine B+/A grader IMO.
