There's an article on afl website about Aish and a couple others, that's where it mentions Lennon waiting till end of season

What article was that? Had a look but could not find it. Must keep this bloke IMO.
T.O.O. has now added the AFL website link to his post on twitter.

Richmond's No.12 pick Ben Lennon is also set to wait until the end of the season before talks progress about his next deal, after breaking into the Tigers' line-up just once this year.

The talented half-forward has picked up some good form in the VFL in the past fortnight and will be hoping to add to his eight senior games in the back-end of the season.

do you think players should have to earn their spot with sustained quality performances?
yes, but Miles was a super standout, blind freddy could see it, but it took Dimma, 3 extra weeks to see it, Miles had an immediate impact when promoted.
Lennon should replace Newman IMO, no question, it is as obvious as was Miles's callup.

no disagreement, but we digress.
originally someone stated they didnt believe Lennon had earned a spot, and some trawled the old line about newman as if that somehow qualified lennon.

that is all i was discussing, not whether he actually had earned a spot.

3. Lennon arrives

Richmond has been patient with Ben Lennon, playing the young half-forward in eight matches since he was recruited with pick No.12 in the 2013 NAB AFL Draft. Expect that rate of appearance to accelerate now after a breakout game against the Saints. Lennon showed his class with three goals in the first three quarters, including a brilliant snap over his shoulder just before three-quarter time. He has been made to earn his spot this season, with strong VFL form not always rewarded. Now he is in the 22, Richmond will be hoping he can demand to hold his spot and add class in the run to finals.
