I'm hardly a prude but why play AEdwards as a midfielder/defender ;D

You're a bit of a prude though if you were being completely honest with yourself.  ;D

AUDIO: Coburg coach Tim Clarke was on SEN with Mark Fine ....

http://www.sen.com.au/audioplayer/Audio/VFL-Season-Preview-Part-1/7261

* The focus of our footy club, given the situation in 2014 when both Richmond and Coburg will go it alone in the VFL, is to develop the Richmond players as well as we can, so they can perform at the highest level in the Richmond senior team. It’s also to work with all the kids that have committed to the VFL Coburg list, to make them better players, give them some of the education that’s coming down from Richmond.  Hopefully, at the end of the year, a handful of those guys might be pushing for AFL lists themselves. That’s our biggest focus this year.

* The way that Richmond recruited, with some of the mature rookies that they got on board, definitely helps at the depth at Richmond, but also at VFL level. That’s going to be very good for some of the young guys on our list - an 18-year-old looking at playing with a 26-28-year-old, that’s either played VFL for 10 years, or played AFL for four or five. Some of those young guys coming up and playing with the AFL boys can make a huge difference with their footy. It really does help with their development.

Possibly a chance to see some of the younger cubs running around for Coburg.

Has A edwards form been good enough for him to make the Coburg ressies side?

Yeah but just barely. Knights asked if he could have a kick around but was told no since Edwards has had more touches in the yellow and black.

Reading that I think he meant he might be playing some Coburg games during the year. Surely on preseason form he'll be playing this weekend for Richmond as well as in round 1.

Quote from the football club:

"We will have about 14-16 Richmond players playing at Highgate on Sunday.

This will be made up of most of the players that are not playing tomorrow [ed. did not play yesterday] and who are not injured, such as: Dylan Grimes, Brad Helbig, Matt Arnott, Tom Derrickx and most of the rookies.

There's a strong breeze if you didn't guess

Elton, McBean and Abdallah with goals in that quarter
