Arnot and Mcdonuts looking like AFL level. Petterd and Thomas fun to poke poo at but love the grunt they are giving. Big Lloydy  :clapping

Gotta agree with your comment on Thomas, Dwaino.  He's doing a lot of the inside grunt work.

Today is showing how much we missed Conca in Elim. Final. Hopefully his hammies hold up [touchwood]  :pray.

Still need our tall forwards to become more influential. Griffs has been okay but need more from TV and Az. Ironically we've been a lot better at ground level today which is where our goals are coming from. Our tall backs haven't been that great either one-on-one. It's been our midfield which has done the damage (along with us turning up for this game as opposed to the Dees' game) and is why we're in front.

True, MT.  TV is running around, getting where the ball aint and he isn't looking too upset about it.  I thought Griff's intensity dropped off a bit in the last 10 mins of the second.

Alex Rance still looks very uncomfortable overhead in one-on-one's.  It was unusual to see Chappy get easily beaten by Reid a couple of times.  Dave Astbury in getting in amongst it and has done OK against Cloke a couple of times, but then Cloke beat him a couple of times as well.

Lot's better in the midfield than against the Dees and massively better forward pressure.

Thomas impressive as a midfield option. Not elite but a genuine mid option

McDonough best 22 for sure

Plough just gave our tall forwards a blast for not working hard enough. The one disappointing today from the Tiges.

Free to Miles. Hands to Griffs who kicks it 80m but Hampson misses the ball with his boot and it's a point  :P

Pies run it down and another mark and goal to their tall forwards (Cloke's 3rd). That's 8 of their 9 goals.

Az Edwards (now across HB) finds TV who marks 50m out. Misses.

Foley to Grigg to Arnot who fires and misses as well.

Dusty penalised for a fend-off and the turnover ends up with Cloke. OOTF thankfully. Astbury on Cloke.

Miles interception (after Rance's kick went OOTF). Miles to Lids greats hands to Griffs to Houli to Dusty. Dusty squeezes to Houli for a goal  :gotigers.
