You can't play blokes with zero confidence at the level in big games. Post is a deer in headlights when there is any more than 200 people watching. He'll drop easy marks, brain fart, and turn it over. Essendon will chew him up.

When played forward he suffered from the same thing Vickery is currently suffering from. A fellow forward that gets 80% of the delivery even when another player is in a better possie. Although I don't think Posty demanded the footy enough when he was up forward. Kicked 5 in a quarter  on the w/e so he must have done something right.

Pull your head in.

the reason no one kicks it to Vickery is because he couldnt hold a stuffing mark to save himself in the first three rounds.

Is that true?

if yes, what happened exactly? Laser stuffed his eyes up more? Or it just takes some time to adjust?

Personally, it doesn't look like an eye problem to me, more an issue of intensity and has now also lost confidence.

Am I the only one who remembers Vickery clunking marks against West Coast? What's the excuse for ignoring him time after time the following week?

one game out of five with a few marks is not going to restore confidence in your teammates. I agree that he should of been used more against Port but I understand why his teammates aren't kicking it to him.

If you ignore a bloke leading up the corridor in favour of kicking it to Riewoldt in the pocket then you're a poo decision maker. Doesn't matter if it's Greg White on the lead or Vickery or Miller. Honour the lead of the blokes who go to the right spots. Don't encourage JR to call for it long every time. Vickery has gotten into good positions only to be ignored so that Riewoldt can have a crack at trying to jump over 7 people and the point post.

I'm with you on this Davey. The best lead must be honored, regardless

I can also see how having eye surgery would take time to adjust to if it changes your vision. It would take a while to get your judgment back to what it was.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
