Choco shouldn't get a job anywhere after Port.

Why? He's absolute top shelf. Watch a few port games now you an expert wonnie?

He was the worst coach in the league in 2010. Horrible. Disgusting. Putrid. Even GWS have stuck with Sheeds for another year

:lol

He left that club where it should be! Was a disgrace that he won them a premiership :banghead

Chocco missed out on a flag in 1981 thanks to Carlton maybe he can run them into the ground for three years with a list that's not too disimilar to Port's post their 2007 GF failure.

Would love to see Chocco get the job at Carlskata.

Would love it if Mick turned around and said "I've changed my mind but thanks for the offer"  ;D
Geez that would be a scream  :pray.

Which club got rid of their coach a couple of years back thinking Michael Voss, who was in the media at the time, was after a senior coach role before Voss changed his mind and decided to head to West Coast as an assistant? Was it Carlton again with Pagan or Essendon with Sheedy? It would be hilarious if the Blues get rejected at the last moment by a high profile favoured candidate once again  :lol  :pray.

Ratten joins Hawks
« Reply #36 on: October 05, 2012, 05:45:21 PM »
FORMER Carlton coach Brett Ratten will be plotting against the Blues next year after joining rival AFL club Hawthorn as an assistant coach.

Ratten, a Carlton premiership player and captain, coached the Blues from partway through 2007 until the end of this year's season when he was replaced by Mick Malthouse.

The move comes after Hawks assistant Leon Cameron joined Greater Western Sydney under a plan to succeed Giants head coach Kevin Sheedy.

“Brett is an excellent addition to our coaching line-up and will bring a great deal of experience and coaching nous to our club,” Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson said.

“With Leon's recent departure, it's pleasing that a coach of Brett's calibre can step in immediately.”

Ratten will start his new job next month.
