Hardwick's inability to blood talent and change the game plan to an attacking hard running style.

What talent are you talking about that is in the ressies that should have been blooded

Did you watch the change in game plan in the last nine games or do you have memory issues

outside of Miles not much has changed to our starting 22.

Where are the new kids coming through from second round onwards.

We are starved of talent at our footy club and players like Conca are rubbish

If you were to tell me 4 years ago that by now we'd be going off about failing (albeit miserably) back to back finals rather than perennial bottom 4 then I'd take it and run. Could be worse, could be Melbourne.

Think it's time people started to face the cold hard reality that Conca over Heppell is right up there with Tambling over Franklin and Fiora over Pavlich....

It's either a qualified plop or a qualified tick.
Take your pick - it's Commanding Jewel in the Cox Plate, a good each way bet.
First back to back finals in 40 years along with a 9 game winning streak including away wins in perth, Adelaide and Sydney with 3 wins over top 8 sides tells you something.
The 3 and 10 start and yesterday tells you the flip side.
I will give it 12 months.

That's a very balanced perspective. Im still leaning towards plop though.

Big plop.

Only way to win a tick from me would be to play two finals matches. Either by winning an Elim or losing a qual.

Came so close to winning a tick but blew it yesterday.

Plop from me, IF we had a real dip at the very least I may have considered a pass.
But I said all along we needed to win at least one final!

Correct.
And Griffiths over Fyfe.
The club that keeps giving.

Overall the season has been a failure. Losing to Melbourne and the Bulldogs was just not good enough. Losing to those sides meant we lost the opportunity of a home final. Miles was one of the few positive developments this year.

That is a bit rough as 17 other teams passed over Fyfe too!  I can't remember anybody spewing that we didn't pick up Fyfe at the time!!

It's almost there, I'm just hoping he has a good year next year and we can chalk this year down to the fact he practically didn't have a hamstring for the pre season. Time will tell but it's certainly on it's way :-\
