Lloyd wants Chol (to play forward/2nd ruck) and RCD brought in. Richmond need to add some youth and excitement into the side which should shake up some premiership players.

Mind you Lloyd also said RCD has been around a number of years when Riley is only in his second year :huh3.

Patrick Naish, Daniel Rioli and Marlion Pickett are among those pushing for a recall.

The blokes who were dropped need to back it up - they shouldn't just waltz back in after only one week of 16-a-side scratch match footy against kids, fringe players & list cloggers... :shh

Step on up garthy. Sounds like he's been playing well and deserves another crack. Our defense is very small though. Maybe Balta ?

Defender Ryan Garthwaite, Patrick Naish, Daniel Rioli and Marlion Pickett are among those pushing for a recall to face Melbourne in a rejigged fixture on Sunday.

Hope I’m wrong but Garthwaite doesn’t look up to it, Balta does

Supporters opinions of Garthwaite have so far followed almost the exact same path & trajectory their opinions about Astbury did at the same stage of his career.... :shh

In other team whispers …

— RICHMOND will ponder a like-for-like replacement in defence for Sunday’s clash against Melbourne after dual premiership backman David Astbury was ruled out for at least a month because of a knee injury. Third-year defender Ryan Garthwaite, who’s played nine games for the Tigers to date, could be considered, but the Tigers may opt to re-call some of the players that were dropped for the St Kilda clash, including Daniel Rioli and Marlion Pickett.

Please no to Garthwaite- he is as bad as I have seen at AFL level.

Play Balta- he is better in every single way.

Higgins was one of our best.

Plenty of others should go before him.

Yes- he was ok but i'm not sold on him as a player.

Not sold on him as a player either. I hope I am badly wrong.
