I find it ironic that Donald Trump has a competition trying to find a high-flyer who has great business and marketing acumen etc, who can sell sand to the Arabs, et al, only managed to negotiate a $50,000 fee per episode. He's now asking for $18M, but mind boggles as to how smart he was himself in doing his own wheeling and dealing.
Sounds like NBC screwed him in that little deal - Donald, you're fired
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds15159.htmlDonald Trump wants $18 million (£9.9m) per episode to continue appearing in his US reality series The Apprentice, it was reported in the Wall Street Journal Wednesday.
The newspaper says that the rise - from his current $50,000-an-episode salary - is just one of a list of demands the 58-year-old presented to broadcast network NBC earlier this week.
Also on the list of "requests" are additional creative control, better living situations for the contestants and a personal assistant for himself.
The network is expected to give the 58-year-old a pay rise, but nowhere in the region of what he is asking.
