Top post TM.

What is Mark Doran going on about today saying Morris had his hand in Browny's back with 1 second to go. LOL if that had been paid a free. The doggie fans would've jumped the fence lol.

He did have his hand in the back, it was there technically but not logically, but given the umpiring on the day it wouldnt have surprised me.

yeah it was slightly in the back but we were let off for alot of holding & niggling all day so it all evens up
Both teams played a top game its was exciting & then gloom fell across everyone
But hey we went there to see if we could hold it against one of the league fastest & fittest sides who score heavy
we accomplished everything except the win, Sides will go into games against us with mixed feelings now

Accomplished was

1. Our midfielders responded after being beaten early.  :thumbsup
2. We fought back from 4 goals down early to be 4 goals up :thumbsup
3. The team is playing a brand of football that they are still learning themselves but its working  :thumbsup
4. Our scoring shots are up & our goal tally is climbing, it matched one of the the best scoring sides in the league so far  :thumbsup
5. Wallace won the coaching dual on the day.  Eade was not happy & ranting :thumbsup
6. The movement of Richo has changed the way the side thinks in ways of attacking & defending  :thumbsup
7. Defence is lead well with Thursfield & seems more confident & flowing with Richo floating around there  :thumbsup
8. We played well on a ground we play our worst football  :thumbsup
9. We have found a running player that storms out of defence with a field of vision around him  :thumbsup
10. the odds were stacked against the players, the media & everyone gave us no chance of even countering this teams ability to destroy fast sides & we accomplished all of them & grabbed 2 points each, even there players & coach commended us for a great effort.  :thumbsup

Now lets enjoy the moment  :cheers :cheers :cheers :cheers :gotigers

11. We pushed the Bulldogs forwards wide into the pockets often, which forced them to have low percentage shots.

The goal chart on AFL gameday live shows it perfectly.

l was surprised Welsh missed so many set shots from the same angle & distance on both sides
but we missed some very easy shots to even it up l remember Rewoldt & Newman several times very close & easy at both ends

12 that stadium is a nightmare its one of the worst constructed peices of junk built for football
people say why do they have so much trouble with sun when most grounds are out in the open
reason is the stadium is built with the goals facing the wrong way,  running around from shade to full sun is blinding & takes your focus away completely thats why players makes bad judgements going for the ball.
The roof should be forever closed on this stadium

In more ways than one.  I hate the place, it has a sterile atmosphere and will never come close to the "G" for a real football experience.  Bulldoze it and start again!

Lucky #13. No injuries at Injury Dome.

Ta tigersalive and TM. FC replayed the last few seconds and you're right tigersalive it was technically there but it shouldn't be free. Just further shows what a stupid rule the hands in the back is that something like that could potentially be paid a free kick.

You're correct.  There was also a case for chopping the hand in the contest and as TA said, given the crap umpiring on the day anything was possible.  Oh well, in the long term 2 points might prove to be a much more valuable lesson than 4.

Why change something that ain't broke. The EPL has draws and you don't see them complaining.
