A bloody DRAW!!!
« on: April 20, 2008, 04:56:26 PM »
 :banghead  :banghead  :banghead

Why did we concede that behind when we were 19 points up  :banghead. Bloody trying to save the game too far out. Instead of the dogs needing 4 scoring shots with 3 minutes to go it was back to 2 in an instant after the turnover. Just dumb dumb dumb  :banghead.

Gutsy effort but we coughed up 2 points  :P.

AH dear.  Hope we learned our lesson to play games out.

We must learn from that.

Agree we iced the clock too early but if we hadn't conceded point we would've have won. You can't give the opposition even a sniff.

dont forget richos mark over the line that cost the dogs a goal, so then we would have lost by 5 points

I don't really mind match ending in a draw. The boys will learn from this and we will be better for it in the future

But that's something out of our control like Welsh having two left feet today in front of goal and us not being 6 goals down at quarter time. We fixed up what we were doing wrong and had control of the game with 4 minutes to go. Conceding that unnecessary point icing the clock was something we could control and we allowed the dogs back in.

As long as they learn this result has a purpose. Yes it is disappointing to draw but if we had won by one point would it have the impact that drawing or losing has? Would the lesson be learnt?

We need to run these games out. It is the players that are making a wrong decision on the field or is it coming from the coaches? Don't bother answering that question Jackstar, when it comes to anything to do with TW you have no credibility.

a great effort by the lads. they ran, chased, tackled at every contest.
i have been waiting years to see that kind of endeavour. great work.

one downside is jay schulz. cant stand him in any position. get rid of him.

I think Watsons female glasses might be squeezing a bit of what's left of his brain out of his head.
