I would say that for the first time the Number17 will be worn in the right manner.
I will never say that Kane did a good job wearing it to me he made it look nore like a joke.
With a new young blood that has been therer for a while will wear it with the pride it should stand for.
Whom ever that young one should be. I will back them all the way, which will be a big difference to Kane.

On that we are poles apart.  I think the manner in which the club and the playing group conducted itself and did not waiver from the commitment and belief in the long term goal over the whole terrible 2007 season speaks volumes for the people in positions of power and influence.  To me, Johnson stood up when it counted, when things were at their toughest, and those who judge his performance as Captain purely on his on-field results do him a disservice.  Well done Kane and thank you.

surprise surprise you sticking up for Sugar.

On field is what matters most and he has produced the worst captain in our clubs history.

Never once won a match off his own boot. I would be lying if i didn't have a scotch neat last night when i heard he was stepping down.

Newman 80%

Foley 50%

Deledio 20%

If I was a betting man that's about what I would think were the odds.

I would like to place my money on Newman please.
I was wondering how come Nathan Brown's name has yet to be mentioned in all of this.
Not that I want him to be captain as I would love Chris to get the job.

If that was going to happen I reckon the time was four years ago.

It is clearly time now for "generational change"

Dont want to get too technical guys but if you are talking about an outcome in terms of percentages it must add up to 100.

Converting your numbers that would make

Newman a 53% chance
Foley a     33% chance
Lids a       14% chance

Not when you are framing a book but 150% is probably a tad high!   :-[

Let's hope you are not doing an English major.  :lol

I'm thinking you would head for a Business course (probably TAFE).

What are you hoping to get as an ENTER score? Anything above 65 would be a bonus for a lad of your obvious intellect.
