From day one of these H&A games being played in Darwin, Port has always been the away team, but promote themselves as the "home" team. That is they blow their trumpet about being the territory's own team or similar. Cunning and sickening, as they give up nothing in reality to play these games up here.
Agree Al to add insult to injury was shocked to see last season that the Dogs were the home team who got the $$$$$ but Port wore their traditional home strip whilst the Dogs were in their changed all white alternate.
If its our home game whether at the G, Etihad, Darwin or Timbuktoo I would like to think that we don't sell our right to wear our first choice and traditional jumper.
Glad we have a bye the week after we play in Darwin as competing clubs tend to get flogged the following week. Just ask the bogans from Alberton.
