Who do you blame?

The coaches for playing them or the medicos for allowing the coaches to play them?

Felt really sorry for Daniel Jackson that 5 min period before half time

Dan needs to take some responsibility too, he told them he was right to go, clearly wasn't

I blame the medicos more than coaches, medicos are supposed to be the experts
Unfortunately, not many medicos have played AFL.

That's beside the point a good medico will stand by his conviction on not be influenced by coach or other club official.

We got away with Royce coming on in the 1973 Prelim and turning the game and we have probably got most medical decisions wrong since then.

Dan is to blame here. He isn't a kid. He is a veteran who knows his body. Ultimately the medicos are going to ask him if he feels right if there is no physical sign of injury.  He could hardly move all week. It was his call too. Very selfish if he asked to play. Kept Miles out of the side and left us one man down from the start. Poor culture.

Another dumb football decision from a dumb footballer.

Can't blame Jackson. He would have been told he was right. If he wasn't then it is the clubs fault.

That's not how it works. Nobody knows their body like the person themselves. As I said, Dan is an experienced player and the medical team would have asked him for his feedback. Coach, you are wrong.

Why pick on one person here?
Player, coach and medical staff got this one wrong.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

anyone knows a injury to the groin is several weeks or more. Jackson needs to man up. It cost the whole side.

Just finished speaking to a mate who supports Essendon. He asked why we didn't sub off Jacko in the first quarter because he looked lame. When I told him he didn't train all week he was flabbergasted.  He asked why he was even selected!
