I would agree if we had decent talls, but we don't. I think the club has finally realised that and gone a different option. Play small, bring the ball to ground, tackle and create pressure/turnovers.

Agree, no use having a whinge at small players not getting enough ball when the tall players will get even less ball and for the double whammy not lay enough (any) pressure on

Agree 100%. Doesn't matter how tall you are, if you can't mark the ball then you're not a threat in the air

Lennon's more of a threat in the air than most of our current talls. Hell, even B.Ellis is.....

The RFC website is saying the club "has not elevated a rookie at this time".

Elton ?
I hope Elton gets the call up.
I think if given the chance he could be ok at the level, especially with the ball pinging around. He is a pretty good athlete and is pretty agile for his size which is what today's footy is about.

That's what I read into it, Dougey. No Soldo either although he's a ruckman.

That leaves Elton as pretty much the only CHF replacement on our list.

Anyway, we'll soon find out.

I would agree if we had decent talls, but we don't. I think the club has finally realised that and gone a different option. Play small, bring the ball to ground, tackle and create pressure/turnovers.
And Lennon helps us in what way in this regard.

Not having a whinge at all just stating a fact. Cmon everyone on this site is talking about the need to find some tall options so why not play some of them.
Personally i dont think we went far enough  both Chol and Elton should have been selected. The thinking is to give em enough games so we can make a call especially on Elton who has been there long enough.
I know hes much maligned but personally i want a bigger sample size of 4 lousy games before i write somebody off.I am happy to see him get a game, if he fails so be it. Like big tone says i think the bloke has some great attributes for the game  and i dont think he can contribute much less than Griffiths or Lennon at the level atm

Yeh possibly, I've sort of already wrote off most of our talls and just want us to start recruiting some decent talls for once, ones that play with a bit of mongrel would be good instead of ones like Griffiths, Miller, clean knees Hughes et al
