Loved it all, just a question re coaching, instead of high floaters into our forward line with all of WCE's height, why didn't we concentrate on low stabbing type passes to The Flea Amigos?

Decided to go watch my local team instead of heading to the 'G (gave my ticket away for the day). Perhaps should have gone (although our 1's got a thumping win over the runners up from last year). Went to a pub after for tea and got to enjoy Melb throw their game horribly while a vocal bunch of Dee's supporters cracked the poos

Yep really, could clearly see we lowered our eyes and tried to stop the high floaters into the fwd line for the most part. Once the rain started falling well it was just kick it fwd at all costs and sometimes it happened

Whilst he did some good things on the day I thought that Grimes struggled to keep tabs on Lecras, 3 goals 4 could've been been a lot worse.

Have to admit I still haven't watched the game yet, however if I had one criticism of Grimes it would be he isn't a great lock-down defender. He reads the play very well and generally puts himself in the right places but 1on1 he is often beaten.
