Look at the pies under McRae his rejuvenate with kids , quality assistant's and a few not bad recruits they aren't nothing special there hungry and playing as team so it's not impossible to get back into finals contention if we make a few hard decisions and revamp football department we have quality kids and good picks again need to make few hard decisions on player retirement and up for trade.

100%. Kids are the way to go.

Time for us to cut some dead weight

Exactly like to see Ryan ,Mansell ,Banks and Brown get games and give RCD the remaining games.

Can Richmond emulate Geelong with sustained competitiveness? (Foxsports)

Tigers’ burning question: Can Richmond emulate Geelong with sustained competitiveness?

A fairytale fourth flag in six years looks out of the Tigers’ grasp now as they sit 10th on the ladder with four games to go following their tense draw with Fremantle last round. But Riewoldt is optimistic that this doesn’t have to be the full stop on Richmond’s great era and that they are in a unique position to keep challenging for top-four spots over a long period of time like the Cats have done. “Richmond are as well-placed as any club since Geelong to have 15 years of relevance, so that’s the conversation. It’s not a short-term concern because they’ve exposed as many debutants this year as anyone, they’ve got five picks from last year in the top 30, they’ve played a lot of kids this year that have played less than 30 games ... attracting big-name players, destination club, all of that sort of stuff, it’s big picture stuff.”
