Yeah or Neah - 33. Brent Hartigan
« on: September 23, 2006, 03:07:38 AM »
Next up is Hartigan who is contracted for one more year.

Harts has played 34 games in his 3 years at Richmond - 19 on debut in 2004, 8 in 2005 in between ongoing hammy problems and 7 this year from rounds two (Saints) to eight (Crows). Played a further 8 at Coburg before breaking his foot at Werribee. Brent in 2006 averaged 12.7 disposals and 3.7 marks to rank 22nd at Punt Road.

Do we trade Harts or persevere with him?

Keep, the poor kid has just had bad luck with injury, he can play though!

He's very much a confidence player so his form has fluctuated. When Harts is up and about he is gettting his hands on the footy and running hard through the lines; when not he goes missing. Needs to keep improiving his foot skills too. Give him another year unless a very favourable trade is offered.

Keep.. YEAH .. whatever

With Raines a possible for time in the mid-field the running half back flanker roles is there for the taking and I reckon Hookey is perfect for it. Just needs some luck with injury - I mean the broken foot was just plain bad luck

Trade immediately whilst there is some value and perceived upside.

Does not have the basic skill base or under-pressure decision making ability to be an integral part of TW's game style.

Tough call, but Hart's will not be a part of a future successful RFC side.

Keep!

I think the questionmarks over his disposal is vastly overated. I love his dash and bravado. This guy is no Flemming.

Same here, have a soft spot for Harts,

Love his style of play, really bullocky but needs to work on his kicking
