I'd guess you'd really only need to be at the draft camp to meet and interview the youngsters face to face and judge their attitude and character. Not watching 17-18 year old getting measured, jumping up and hitting a flap on a pole, running back and forth over 20m and running 3km isn't a big deal provided the club has at least a senior person there (Miller). The clubs get the results anyway and Wallace isn't in Siberia miles away from a phone lol. Since Plough has been coach he seems to have great faith in Miller to be a good judge of character when it comes recruits. Everyone would have seen these kids play footy over the past couple of years. The draft camp results will help clubs work out their pecking order for the draft.
