3 - Richo - for being a true leader out there today
2 - Edwards - gets 1 for simply being a footballer
1 - Jack - because he is the future
Now I haven't given a Golden Turnup nomination for quite a few weeks now but today I think it is only fitting to re-instate it because ...well.. there were so many worthy and I do mean worthy blokes out there today.
Honourable mentions go to: Chris Hyde - when he should stop and look he plays on, when he should play on he stops and props, his 2nd quarter shot at goal that ended up on the full was mid boggling stuff but unfortnately he misses out.
Troy Simmonds I've given him a pardon cause well I just think he still not quite right but a senior player not being able to hit a team mate 20 metres away when you're under no pressure is well
like
Daniel Jackson - in the immortal words of Dr Phil "what were you thinking?" Actually I think Daniled has spending too much time around Chris Hyde - refer stopping and playing on and getting that balance right
But the most worthy of them all was a fellow who had 35 odd possesions but as I've said elsewhere they weren't exactly worthwhile for the team, he was given a tagging job and well I just wont go there but this should give ya a hint
.. his body language for most of the day was nothing short of terrible and I for one have not been this disappointed in this bloke for at least 5 years - he lost me a fair bit today...
The Golden Turnup (aka Johnny Manton Medal) nominee this week is Bowden J
