They may have recruited the 2 other cloke boys in order to get travis, but they have still completely outperformed us as a club

If I played footy I would love to play in Premiership sides not Preliminary final sides that get belted by 12 goals and are exposed as pretenders. Remember us in 2001 or 1995 for that matter?

Since 1959.
Collingwood 11 grand finals 1 win  (12 if you include the 77 replay)
Richmond     7 grand finals 5 wins.

Just a difference of 4 Grannies in their favour and 4 premierships in ours. If our flags were more spaced in those 50 some would not be comparing us to that mediocre ramshackle collection of overrated and overinflated football egos.
Collingwood the best club with the best history the best side the best coaches the best facilities the best jumper the best president the best bank balance and profit and loss statements and the best 73 point loss and best record in finals and Grand Finals in the history of World Sport. Collingwood fans sucked in again. :ROTFL

FACT.

Yep its a FACT too we have been crap for 27 years but statistically so have St Kilda the Bulldogs and Melbourne when it comes to winning flags and Geelong Collingwood Port and Sydney are marginally better.

Yesterday was a day that if you aren't a Collingwood supporter you are happy with the football Gods.

The Leon Davis Finals Shame File.
This guy being an All Australian is a slur on players who play for clubs other than Collingwood who overinflate the estimation of their players. Hence they fail year in an year out. Collingwood are the Anna Kournikova of the AFL. At least Anna won some doubles titles Collingwood fail at NAB cups as well. :ROTFL

Furthermore if Anna lost the compensation was gorgeous eye candy and you would never have anything bad to say on your boner Collingwood are just so unnattractive win during home and away lose in September and draw. Anyway I am ranting back to the 2009 All Australian selection Leon Davis finals stats.

All Australian statistics right there and numbers of a player who rises to the top in games. Leon Davis is a classic example why the All Australian side should be named after the conclusion of finals. Has not got near it since he was pointing his finger to the crowd and glorifying himself in Michael Voss like expectation against us in round 20.

Easy money to be made folks.

There's an emotional hangover after the prelims which has installed Geelong as $1.65 to $1.70 favourites and Saints around $2.30 to $2.35.

Reckon this is the most even GF for a long time and as the week wears on Saints will come right back in to around the $2 mark. Get yourself on betfair and back the Saints. Wait until the end of the week and lay them.

as much as id love to see the Saints win this is the Cats flag.

They are so hungry, you could see it when the siren went last night.

No party tricks, no jumps for joy, no fanfare. They know they have a job to do and thats win this flag.

I agree Cats are favourite but Saints play a style of footy that wins finals. Its pretty much like the Swans - West Coast match up and those could have gone either way but I tend to think that the Saints main focus will be making sure the game is the played the way they want to play it.

Either way in a purely unemotional sense I think its a good arbitrage op as Saints will jump much shorter than $2.35 IMHO.

I thought the Cats would make the GF but just fall short. However they have arguably been the form side of the finals and now I wouldn't be surprised if the pain of last year motivates them to another flag (similar to us in '73). I don't really care who wins. I just hope it's a good close game. If the game is played on the Saints terms then it'll stay fairly close and low scoring; whereas if the Cats get on top it they could get an uncatchable lead.

And to see those weak Pies supporters who criticise every other supporter in the AFL for walking out of games in the last qtr doing it themselves = PRICELESS
Yes where did the Pies cheer squad go after 3/4 time ???  :lol

:jump :thatsgold  :clapping

Those Neon Leon stats are simply tragic  :yep

I reckon Eddie was shedding tears at the end. He was a shattered man reliving 50 years of finals failure. I didn't see Joffa on the tv as the Pies' cheer squad had left at 3/4 time  ;D.

Neon Leon = Flake in finals. Dermie was right which is painful to say  :rollin

No leadership, no responsibility, no passion and I aint talking about richmond

Pies were deplorable.... it was delightful to see Eddie sitting there shell shocked, hilarious to see the Geelong bloke in his gold jacket .....

And to see those weak Pies supporters who criticise every other supporter in the AFL for walking out of games in the last qtr doing it themselves = PRICELESS

fully agree WP. the gold jacket was #1. Pies were walking at at the 5 minute mark of the last 1/4  ;D

Yes them stats for Leon Davis are shocking
Cloke is one of the most pathetic players l ever seen reminds me of Chris Tarent  ;D

Collingwood never had a good finals series but my money will be on Geelong to smack the daylights out of the Saints
l will also put my money on it,  that Rewoldt will get injured in the first 5 minutes & be out of action a very long time

His a TARGET  ;D & too win the flag Geelong will go after him

Geelong by 60 points
