Tough.  Uncompromising.  Contests.

Was a bloody ripper.  :thumbsup  Of course the Saints were going to slow it down and eat up the clock in the last.  Both teams were dead on their feet from the first 3 quarters.

Would love to watch the Tigers play just one game like that.

Hope the Saints go on and win the Grand Final.  Really like their brand of football and disagree it's boring to watch.

Perfectly well said TA.

Watching it with a St.Kilda mate was great fun both sides had a super crack and so many times in a game you saw 4 or 5 constant handballs to blokes unable to get a clean possession away whether it was hindered by a bump smother or tackle, just great football.

We were on the way home talking about the great Saint Nick. Talking about what a leader he was etc. I mentioned he looked like a dead eyed Richo in his hay day, he sympathetically agreed lol. I too said, "Gee I know you guys have had it tough for 60 years without a premiership but consider yourself lucky over teh past 3 years you've played in more finals than my club had in 27 years and next week you'll play in a grand final, something we haven't done since 1982."

He came back with that they'd be thousands of 50, 60 and 70 year old saints that would give there lives for 10 flags. And I said there would be every single toddler to 26 year old that would give anything to see a finals series and to see the tigers put in an effort like the saints did tonight.."

One day.. one day.
Go Tigers!

Gee the Doggies blew it. Really wanted them to win the thing

Actually thought they blew their chance in week 1 of the finals against Geelong

I said to someone during the week I actually don't really care who wins the thing as long as it ISN'T St Kilda

Can't stand the Saints - no respect for them at all, escpecially their foul mouthed supporters who abused Ma Powell years ago for no other reason than Ma being old, The swear filter would go into meltdown if I tried to type it here

As for Milne - if ever there was a player who doesn't deserve a premiership because of the person they are it is Milne. Twirp is being kind  :banghead :banghead

As for the Pies - seeing Pa Powell barracked for them all his life, I have no problems if they win it

But right at the minute I am hoping for Geelong

Think most of the footy world is. Genuine hard nuts who try to kick a winning score. I got all the time in the world for Nick Riewoldt's ability as a footballer, but every time he takes a mark he gets up grimacing then two seconds later he's making a 150 m lead down the wing. He's either the bionic man or acting it up little.

Good old Colliwobbles forever
They know how to live in shame
Hand in hand they slip together
Going down the drain
See their suffering supporters
Crying in their beer;
"Once again we are the bridesmaids"
And the same again next year...... :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Crappy Old Collingwood Forever
They know how to lose a Game
Side By Side They Fail Together
To complement another futile September campaign
See their barrackers are fuming
Realisation for them is never good
For the Premierships a  pipedream
For the Crappy Collingwood.  :thumbsup

Neon Leon = Flake in finals. Dermie was right which is painful to say  :rollin

No leadership, no responsibility, no passion and I aint talking about richmond

Pies were deplorable.... it was delightful to see Eddie sitting there shell shocked, hilarious to see the Geelong bloke in his gold jacket .....

And to see those weak Pies supporters who criticise every other supporter in the AFL for walking out of games in the last qtr doing it themselves = PRICELESS

It was fantastic at 3/4 time, seeing Mick take Neon Leon and Cloke (who'd had absolutely no impact on the game to that point) aside, and virtually BEG them to get involved. And they still did NOTHING. To think of the shenanigans that Collingwood pulled to beat Richmond to the punch on Travis (ie/ drafting his two dud brothers to appease their mummy Julie), just to end up with that overrated DUD who can't even kick straight is absolutely priceless.

They may have recruited the 2 other cloke boys in order to get travis, but they have still completely outperformed us as a club
