Judd eye-gouging Rischitelli?
« on: September 06, 2009, 12:17:25 AM »
I didn't see it but a low act if he did it.

We won't have to worry about him in round 1 either if found guilty.

If he gets suspended does it affect either this years or next years Brownlow eligibility?

this year it doesn't affect the brownlow but next year if found guilty it does I think. We spoke of that exact thing last night. Hope he gets rubbed out we need all the help we can get. It's chris Judd though teachers pet nothing will come of it

I would've thought it affects this year's Brownlow as the report was for a game in 2009. The suspension however is carries over to the first how many games of the 2010 H/A season.

Judd got off once before (re: Brad Scott IIRC)

His excuse this time around is he was aiming for a pressure point behind the ear. The hands aren't near the ear in that photo  ???

WTF? A pressure point behind the ear isn't an acceptable excuse. Is he into acupuncture?

I'd have to see the video but from that still his only line of defence would be that he wasn't looking at Rischitelli and it was an accident....

Sad day a hip and shoulder that brushes the head gets 2 weeks yet 3rd time eye gouging offender can walk away with "ohh i was brushing the hair off his face, i'm crhis judd" crap.

He's done it to Brad Scott
and he did it to Campbell Brown.
Now Ricshitelli

Clear as day.

Absolute 1 week minimum, you can't eye gouge in any living sport.. not even UFC...

Dear o dear.

The AFL is fighting for credibility for all tribunal cases.
We have seen this over the last few weeks.
I can only hope the hard line taken will continue with a minimum of a three week suspension to the football mercenary. Anything less or an acquittal due to a lack of evidence will be tantamount to corruption.

I'd like to see whether trial by media takes place this week. I wonder whether Mike and the gang at the Hun crucify him or accept his b/s story about finding pressure points. ::)

as i said i cant actually be sure to be honest.

i have checked other forums and no one really knows either.

If its true and it does count in winning this years final series, the scumbag will get off regardless

Andy D and his stuffwit Sidekick Anderson would not want another McKernan/Grant episode so pretty boy Judd will get probably get off

It won't be a surprise if they let Judd off. They've done it before  ::).

Apparently this alleged "pressure point" is in front of the ear near the temple not behind it. When interviewed about the incident I thought Judd said behind the ear. In any case even admitting going for a pressure point is a low act. You're out there to play footy within the rules; you're not out there to do something that supposedly induces unconsciousness if held long enough while an opponent is on the bottom of a pack. Footy isn't a street fight  ::).
