In defence of Jackstar (I can't believe I am doing this
) I believe his heart is in the right place. I am first to say that I don't agree with a lot of what he says but I feel that contrasting opinions make for a healthy forum of discussion. He cops plenty of flack for his opinions which are predominantly on the negative side, but he very rarely lashes out with personal insults and if he does, a lot has gone on beforehand to get him to that point. If you find his opinions repetitive or annoying, just move on. If you want to enter into a debate with him, then he is always accommodating (probably a bit more than some would like
).
He has proven over the years that he does attend most games and plenty of training sessions so he is not without passion for the club. Sure he puts his own bias on his posts and has clearly displayed a strong distaste for certain people in our clubs coaching and administration but haven't we all at one stage or another? Whilst I don't know him personally, I have been on forums with him for several years now and had plenty of jousts, jibes and frustrating debate on many topics, and even occasionally agreed on some, but overall he has never personally insulted me.
Not wanting to sound like Ghandi, but treat others how you would like to be treated yourself and if you don't know someone personally, then there is no need to get personal!
Props to you Jack for your recent post where you actually named players you believe have the ability to steer us towards finals. I'll bookmark it as ammo for future discussions
