And I think he has done this for him, and not for the club.

Totally disagree

If the CLub had said "time to go Richo" he would go no questions, no tantrums he even said that himself.

And considering what he has done for the Club over the years not just on it but more importantly off it I don't doubt him for a second - he loves the RFC

Sorry Bushie, i usually agree with you on a lot of things, but not this! Why would he do it for himself? What has he to gain? Credibilty? Money? Success? He has two of those and he wont achieve the other! He is staying as he loves the club, the game, his teamates and he still has a lot to give! He also still in the top 3 at the club and will probably win our contested marks again!

Pretty obvious. Fit he goes on again, unfit he retires.
Needs to push himself hard physically before the PSD and then make a decision.
If he desires to play he's easily good enough ability wise but don't want to see him sitting on the sidelines again in 2010.
No one wants that.

Thats okay Go Richo 12  not agreeing with what I have put down.
I think we all need to have a post here or there that doesn't go down too well.
As it does make you think what we have said.
And it makes for a better forum, with a different point of view.

Played only 6 games for the year yet still was the highest brownlow vote getter for the entire club in 2009
How anyone could say he shouldn't go around again is a fool

the 6 votes Richo got speaks volumes about our football club.

the best 2 vote getters are 34 yrs of age and a 30 year old recovering drug addict.

FFS when is someone else other than Richo going to step up.

my son said the same thing to me this morning laughing

Given Matty Lloyd has now retired, Richo's MCG goal kicking record will remain intact for many years to come

It shouldn't be a surprise no one else can stand up given our lack of quality and quantity of mid-age players in their prime. After this trade period we'll most likely only have 3 or 4 Tigers aged between Foley (24) and Cuz (31)  :P.

Given Matty Lloyd has now retired, Richo's MCG goal kicking record will remain intact for many years to come
Given traditional FFs are a dying breed then yep the big fella may hold onto this record for a long long time. He just pipped Lloyd too by 3 goals.

Lloyd  461

I'm sure he'll get plenty of opportunity to extend his lead in 2010

I would like to see Richo go back to full forward:

HF: Deledio - Reiwoldt - Cousins
FF: Nahas - Richo - Morton
