Not too bad given memberships were sent out late this year.

8/12/08: 10,989 + 2601 = 13,590
10/12/07: 11,986 + 2909 = 14,895

I think I heard Matthew Knights on SEN yesterday say that Essendon were already up to 17000+ memberships for the year.

Not unexpected considering that as a Telstra Dome resident a massive % of Essendon memberships are reserved seat members so it guarantees them entry to the smaller ground.

The Bombers have also had rollover memberships for a while now which plenty of their members have signed up to. So as soon as Essendon release their membership campaign they can include most of those 17,000 in their membership tally from day 1.

On par with this time last year by the looks of it. Good to see our supporters as loyal as ever after our horrible season :thumbsup.

Said I got it didn't say I'd renewed it  :rollin

A bit diappointed with the price increase of $400 especially when they've again taken away a couple of things but hey that's life I suppose  ;D

and yeah I've now renewed

I got a Adult17 this year and thought I was splurging!!! :o After seeing what you pay for a Coterie Membership I am amazed.  :help

What do you get for that sort of money? I'd be expecting in sit in the coaches box, players briefings and take my pick of the players girlfriends for each halftime.  ;) :cheers

Amazing. How the other half live hey.  ;D

Stripes,

I have the Player Club double package and it gives me:

2 x 17 game memberships
2 x Premium reserve seats
Guaranteed finals tickets x 2 (including the GF is RFC is playing)
Access to a function room B4 the game, where one of the coaches comes up prior to the game to speak
Refreshments at half time
During the season there is a dinner where all the players attend and you are seated with your sponsored player
Name on your player's locker
Near the end of the season there's a locker viewing, only a couple of players attend that
Signed photo of your player (previously you got your photo taken with your player but not in 2010 that's been taken away)

This is my 6th or 7th year of doing it and when I first started it was around $1800 a year now it's $3400. I'm starting to wonder whether it is worth it to be honesy

As I said in an earlier post I was disappointed with the increase (up $400 on this season) more so because some things have taken away next year (eg the photo and we got jackets this season) but hey that seems the nature of the beast these days.

What you get seems fantastic but for over three grand a season it would want to be.  :gobdrop All the same I'm jealous that you can afford such an expense. That will be my next aim, to become a coterie member after working my way up to reserve seating, MCC membership and getting rid of the home loan....only 30 odd years to go  :help
