considering we don't have the cousins factor this time and the fact that we just had a poor season, to be a little bit behind last year is a fair effort i'd say.

I'd also suggest we are behind as memberships went out much later this year, Premium membership renewals only arrived a week ago too.

I think that we should do okay even without the Cousin's factor.
Get closer to the season and then I reckon we'll have members resigning or and a few will move form the Bombers to us too.

This time last year we had 21,017 (17k ticketed). So we're almost 4000 down  . Mind you there's no Cuz hype and mass media talking RFC 24/7 this time around plus our membership campaign started very late. I think we were the last club to send out our membership renewals.

It looks like those who jumped on the bandwagon last year have jumped back off. We've gone back to around 2008 figures for this time of year. We had 14,990 ticketed members on 16/01/2008 so that would be around the 17k mark if you include non-ticketed memberships.

Round 1 2009 was a MASSIVE missed opportunity by our club.
