problem is we are only about 50% of the way to last years total if memory serves me correct.

A decent NAB cup run should see those numbers increase markedly, but we would have to buck the trend of previous years as we have been woeful in the pre season.

Do you think that people take the NAB as a bench mark of how a team will go in the real season.
I don't just look at the Blues how they have good showing and fail the season proper.
Hope we still get the required nembers we need, just to make it a little easier on the team.

What about Geelong last year? St Kilda preliminary finalists the year before.

A decent pre season campaign will increase membership.That's the only way. If we lose by 10 goals next week after the disaster of 2009 do you think our fans who haven't signed would be saying that's allright we'll be okay just look at Carlton in 2007 and 2009 surely we can do the opposite and finish top 4?

Yep, but 2 weeks ago we were 5,000 behind.  The Cuz factor had nearly run it's course by mid-Feb last year so it looks a lot better now than it did a few weeks ago.  Maybe the late start to selling had more impact than most of us thought it would?  And maybe our supporters are a bit more loyal and a bit more hopeful than the doomsayers want to believe?

well my membership packs arrived today!!!!

we will do ok membership wise, we may dropa touch from last yr but thats expected, but say we start the season with a bullet and do the unexpected , everyone knows many tiger fans opo out of hidingand jump back on the caboose
