Fev stumbles through night
Herald Sun | September 23, 2009

What are these?

IF the Brownlows was dubbed the Boozelows, then Carlton's Brendan Fevola was the sure-fire winner.

Only moments after the medal ceremony, the Carlton spearhead was seen holding two Crown Lagers and a microphone while hosting Street Talk for Channel 9's The Footy Show.

And Fevola did not hold back as he simulated sex for the cameras, puckered up for some unsuspecting WAGs and bystanders, and swore black and blue while interviewing players and guests.

Accompanied by a cameraman and sound assistant, Fevola had several mishaps, including knocking a full bottle of beer out of Western Bulldog Adam Cooney's hand that went flying into the crowd.

The outrageous footballer lurched and fell on to a barricade as Carlton skipper Chris Judd and girlfriend Rebecca Twigley came to his aid.

Holding a fist full of notes, Fevola then tried to pay a waiter more than $500 for giving him free alcohol.

"Just keep it," Twigley said to the confused waiter as she tried to steady Fevola. Even stern and heavily pregnant on-again-off-again wife Alex could not calm down the wobbly Blues player.

"Brendan, I'm telling you, stop drinking," Alex said.

"But I just did Street Talk," Fevola slurred.

"Oh yeah, that went really well," Alex said.

Richmond's Nathan Brown took over Fevola's Footy Show duties, as the Blues bad boy continued to party hard.

Fevola was seen on the balcony at the River Room, where the after-party was held, smoking cigarettes in the rain and vomiting.

Crown security kept a strict eye on him as he slapped players in the face, only to then passionately hug and kiss them.

"I love you man," Fevola said while embracing team mate Marc Murphy.

"I really, really love you."

As the party finished and the music died, Fevola took to the stage and sang DJ Otzis cover Hey! Baby acappella style to an amused crowd.

At 3:15am, security asked him to leave, but he tussled and swore with guards, before his Carlton teammates ushered him out the door.

It is believed Channel 9 chiefs are furious with Fevola's conduct and it is believed the Brownlow Street Talk segment will not air tomorrow's night show.

It is believed the wayward Blue will not be part of the top-rating, season-ending extravaganza.

His is way out of control
Carlton football club should be tearing up his contract & ending his career just like channel 9 has done
He has no respect for his family or himself when under the influence of booze & is a edward-penishead without booze
Its a shame because his got plenty of talent & exciting on the football field to watch,  but his going down the path like a few before him & needs a wake up call.

At least Aker (and his wife) had the sense not to go and make a fool of himself.
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Agreed, but as a past winner he should have had a bit more respect for the occasion.

Fev fits the old saying 'instant fool - just add beer'. He can't hold his alcohol. The news report must be far worse than the vision on the Herald-Sun. Bad kareoke is hardly newsworthy.

He's so important to Carlton I don't see them doing anything to punish Fev but it would be funny if Greg Swann had to stick to the ultimatum he gave Fev last year....

"If there are any more alcohol-related incidents, that will result in him being terminated by the Carlton Football Club.

GREG SWANN lays down the law to Brendan Fevola.

This would have to be just recently because I'm certain I've seen him in Brownlow coverage in previous years, knocking back a Crown Lager.

He's a funny dude

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/85224/default.aspx
The Blues' goalkicker has apologised for his behaviour and admitted he was in the wrong, but said on radio he remembered little of his colourful antics.

"I had absolutely no idea – I think you get like that when you have way too many," he told Triple M on Wednesday morning.

"From towards the end I cannot remember anything, pretty much."

He should ask his club captain Steven Segal to fill him in with the details   :stupid
