David Wojcinski

It seems from reports that the Cats may not be able to keep Wojcinski because of salary cap restrictions.
Should we have a crack at getting him?? I for one am extremely interested. Sure he is 29 and a couple of years younger than Cuz but he played 18 games for the Cats this year, so he still has plenty of footy left in him. I think he would be great for us off the half back flank/wing.
He might slip through to the PSD if no deals are done but if there is interest from other clubs, I would offer a late pick for him and a 2 year contract.

29 thats shattering I didn't think he was that old.

We wont touch him, our picks are sacred and maybe a Nathan Brown for Wojinski trade maybe at best.
Go Tigers!

What do ppl think of his disposal.  From some of the games I have watched of the Cats it has been shocking.

If he does have poor disposal; no thanks we have enough of those types plus he is too old.

Not interested.  Only a fringe player at Geelong and too old to be worth bothering with.

Yep too old for us to trade and and has too much currency thanks to his pace that clubs will be seeking to go to the PSD.  Would suit St Kilda to replace Raph Clarke on the HBF for them but I doubt Geelong would make it easy for them to get him.  ;D

I thought his disposal was quite okay.

He goes ok, any miskick in the Cats line up stands out like a sore thumb. Imagine Jackson's worm burners down there, he'd be across every back page.

If he was 26 I'd think about it but 29 is useless to our list. Unless we pick him up for nothing, I'd take him but at the expense of Tucks spot is a tough call.
Go Tigers!

CLOSE THREAD

Well everyone, Since Little Lord Fauntleroy has decreed that this thread be closed, then we must, for fear of falling out of favour with his Lordship. After all if his Lordship is not interested in this thread, then how could anyone else possibly be???

BTW, can anyone actually find a thread that has ever been created by his Lordship in Richmond Rant??
