Anyone interested in doing a phantom draft?
« on: November 01, 2009, 06:55:20 PM »
With the draft just 4 weeks away, anyone interested in doing our own phantom draft in the lead up to it?

We did one last year and it was good to read people's thoughts on the various kids and where they might end up. You don't need to think you need to have great knowledge about the kids available. It's just meant to be a bit of fun and there's plenty of resources (I'll post links to them) around to help you out.

Anyway just post here and the club you'd like to take if you're interested. The more the merrier (up to a max. of 16 )  :).

Adelaide -
Brisbane - mightytiges
Carlton - sabartooth
Coll'wood -
Essendon - WilliamPowell
Fremantle - tiga
Geelong -
Hawthorn -  Infamy?
Melbourne - wayne
North Melb - crannyvegas
Port Adel -  Danog
Richmond -  Ramps
St Kilda -
Sydney -  smokey
West Coast - elliot
W.Bulldogs - Gordon Bennett

al is happy to take whichever team is left at the end.

So 5 spots still free.

Better bring your helmet, whip and chair Ramps if it's anything like last year for the person who has our picks  ;D.

I'm in  :thumbsup. I'll take Brisbane.

I wont need helmuts, this will be an exercise in master strategy. You will all be in awe as I put in place the foundations for the next Richmond flag. Now if I can just find one James Boogie esquire I will be able to fill my whole compliment of selections. If he isnt a nominated individual, then I will have to pass on my last selection and take a player in the PSD. :D

I know that I'm brand new to this board but I'm a keen football follower with a particular interest in the draft.

Some of you might recognize my username from BF...As it gets further into the silly season I plan to spend more time on OER as it looks like there is some quality discussion on here.

I'd be happy to take West Coast
