Rumor has it that the supersonic mid-fielder wearing number 35 had the best kicking efficiency of all Tigers in 2009. :bow

Wonder when the knockers will wake up to FACTS or will they just find something else to knock. :pray

White?

He didn't get a huge lot of the ball though.  You'd want him to be averaging 20-25 a game as a mid fielder unless he's purely tagging.  He seems to have averaged about 14 a game, which isn't great, but it depends partly on what role he was playing and the style the team plays.  I'm not surprised he was dropped a few times this year.

I wouldn't say his place is guaranteed in stone with figures like that.

In the Round 21 AFL Record (so not including the last two games) it had Thursty with the best kicking efficiency of 88%.

The efficiency stats can be misleading because the players that take the risks (kicking longer) to make the key plays will have lower kicking efficiencies than those that play safe and kick short and sideways. Lids' kicking efficiency is only 61% but up to round 20 he had 24 more inside 50s than any other Tiger.

Wonder when the knockers will wake up to FACTS or will they just find something else to knock. :pray

Matty White, not up to AFL standard, wouldnt get a game at any other club.

Jack, could you do me a favour and put together a side for next year that contains players you actually like, respect or have anything good to say about?????

You would be lucky to fill the forward line, White is not that bad a player mate, don't start slagging off players this early pal, give them a go FFS!!!
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

Your facts are not so TIDY man.

White was not dropped for any game in 2009. He tore a hamstring , game back after one game at Coburg, missed the game in Perth due to tight hammy. Never dropped for form, although he must have been close.
