When it comes to on-field mishaps, Jeff Wortman - who spent three years as Richmond's tiger mascot - knows what he's talking about.
He once knocked out his two front teeth after smacking his face into the cheerleaders' banner pole.
''But no one came and rescued me because they thought I was just playing the role of a clumsy mascot,'' he says. ''It wasn't until I started coughing up blood that they realised I was in trouble.''
Fortunately, his dentist gave him two shiny new teeth, saving his model good looks. In fact, Wortman worked as a model in Japan a few years ago. ''I was approached by a guy in a pub who said I should check out a modelling website,'' he explains.
