Miles is a bit of a ducker but he goes in hard for the ball while doing it. Grimes already has the ball but stops, props and drops his head/arms. Not a good look IMO

Agreed. Some of Grimes' have been real cringey.

We've been calling him Dylan Selwood the last few games.

Yep. Seeing Selwood's frees always frustrated me but his and Miles' high tackles are nothing compared to the theatrics of Grimes.

grimes is just taller, so he has to bend at the kness more. makes him more unbalanced when he cops the arm around the head

Think he hits them quite well generally. It's his decision making which is the issue. When he chooses the wrong options its glaringly obvious.

yeah agree with that. generally his desision making is pretty good though, but just seems to have some bad brain fades. luckily it doesn't happen too often and is outweighed by his good work.

Yeah, and rewind 2 years and that's what we were all saying about Rance.

overall he's been super serviceable to the club. I need to constantly remind myself he's had injuries which have interrupted his development. What I love about this guy is that he's not just a lock down defender and is always thinking about rebounding/slingshotting the ball back so we can get a score on the board ala like Rance.

Mini Rance is a very good way to sum up where he's currently at. No doubt he's going to be super important next couple of weeks as our back 6 are going to be tested thoroughly
