Great to have him back and did not lest us down at all..Coaches rested him at various times too.Maybe we are getting smarter at how we bring players back

I was nervous about Grimesy going into the game after he played 3 qtrs at Coburg the week before but thankfully he got through unscathed.

He definitely needed the run, pretty sure he played only 3 qtrs, he was off the ground for long periods of time, but we have missed that run out of defence. He adds so much and the backline looked really cohesive for much of the time..

Richmond defender Dylan Grimes will be out of action for the next 6-8 weeks, as he recovers from a foot injury.

Grimes, who was sidelined following the Round 6 game against Geelong, was initially scheduled to return after a couple of weeks.

“Unfortunately, Dylan’s foot has not responded as quickly as we had hoped it would, so we will now take a very conservative approach with him,” said Richmond’s General Manager of Football, Dan Richardson
