Cheers RR. Speaking of the Floyd I stumbled over an old interview from the 60s on youtube where the interviewer was complaining to Roger Waters and the late Syd Barrett   that their music was too loud and he doesn't like loud music  .

Sorry MT, wrong on all counts (although you are on the right track with Q3. in terms of both WW1 imagery, and the vintage of the band in question.)
Also, I should add that question 5 is a solo artist, not a band, and that he produced Q6's first album.
As for Syd Barrett,there's a cover story with a cd of artists covering his songs in an upcoming issue of MOJO (my bible). Airfreight copies are already available here, but they're a bit pricier. I love Syd. His work with the Floyd (Arnold Layne) and solo (Gigolo Aunts) is really the biz.
