Is this thread about a cult figure at the club or one of the players knobs?????????

I think we need Martin as our next cult figure, we have had too many forwards in the past and they end up getting bagged a lot, Griffiths would be ok I suppose but not just yet..... IMO

the spec moderator......

No, but honestly, start a thread up on his knob if you are all into it that much!

I think it is relevant and it adds an (d)angle to him that certainly contributes to his case for cult status. We could call him the Lebanese Lasso
It's that simple Spud

I have a feeling that if Cotchin can come back and make an impact in the first few games we will all adopt him as the cult figure. When he came to the club everyone just about did that anyway and when he gets the ball the crowd really lifts. He is a favourite for sure and should figure as a cult figure at some stage. I can even remember the commentators last year saying he had been adopted already as a cult figure at the club.

The midfielders might split the vote (Lids, Martin, Cotch etc) given the potential rotations.

IMHO the forward who steps up to dominate games will be become the next (cult figure)

Post, Jack and Ben Griffiths are all posibilities.

Top 10 AFL cult figures
By Katrina Gill

6. Matthew Richardson (Richmond)
Richardson joined the Tigers from Devonport in Tasmania under the father-son rule in 1992. The long-haired forward led the club’s goalkicking on 13 occasions in his 282-game career and won All-Australian selection three times. He was renowned for his on-field tantrums, but remained one of the most well liked players during his time in the game.
