I can get the page where you enter your 2010 team for round 1 but when you click on the league page OER Rocks it still has the 2009 draw, ladder and results?  ???

I haven't registered the team this year, One Eyed becuase was waiting for people to show some interest.  Don't think three people is enough.  I can go in, but I always forget to put in my team.
Do you want to give it a miss this year?
I'd be more happy to register the team if you want just the three.
And if it requires four people, I'll register anyway.

Each year thanks to FNM we've ran a Footy Rocks competition where we play against each other in a 18 round league fixture plus a top 4 finals.

It's easy to play. You just pick 22 players each week and there's no salary cap or anything like that to worry about.

You choose AFL players in position (backs, half-backs, etc) from list on the website footyrocks.net by the night before the next round starts. So your team usually needs to be in by Thursday night (Note: this week though it'll be Wednesday night)

The footyrocks site then determines a team score based on official stats as recorded by Champion Data.
The number of points for each statistic a player receives is:
Kicks = 2
Handballs = 2
Marks = 3
Hitouts = 1
Tackles = 2
Frees for = 1
Frees against = -1
Goals = 6
Behind = 1

In each particular week if your team score is greater than the poster you are fixtured against you get a win (4 premiership points on the ladder). If scores are level then as with a draw it's 2 points a piece.

After 18 rounds the top 4 go into the finals....

1st vs 2nd  (Qualifying Final) ...... winner into the Grand Final
3rd vs 4th  (Elimination Final) ..... loser eliminated

Loser of QF vs Winner of EF  (Preliminary Final)

Winner of QF vs Winner of PF (Grand Final)

The Winner of the Grand Final is our OER Footyrocks premier  .

If you're interested in having a go this year just leave a reply.

We need a minimum of six people to get it up and running but the more the merrier. If we get enough people interested in joining in, FNM will set up the OER comp. and people can sign in.
