Hawthorn was the only club where we were on a par or slightly below them with Renouf and Skipper and we ran them to 3 points. In all other matches we have been horribly outclassed in the ruck and as a result it has translated on the scoreboard. We need a decent ruckman and fast!

I didn't see the Adelaide game, but Hawthorn were the only opponents I have seen this season who also made numerous unforced errors under no pressure. You are right though....

Look kudos to the boys for putting in a great effort and winning but Brogan not playing today really helped our cause also and Angus stepped up accordingly and did what he had to do which was pleasing.

Last week he struggled slightly against Hille and next week presents another challenge in Gardiner.

Hopefully Angus can slowly start holding his own against these sort of monsters in the ruck and start to address the real need we have in finding a quality ruckman.

According to Matthew Lloyd....

RICHMOND

Now: 2-10, 67.68, 16th ....... [Ed. make that 3-10, 71%, 16th ]

The players are continually growing under Damien Hardwick and getting more competitive with every game they play. The Tigers will be a dangerous opponent for any opposition in coming weeks. Expect them to win another three games. How good are Jack Riewoldt's hands!

Prediction — 15th

Which ones mat? The only games I think we may have a chance out at the moment are the North Melbourne, Adelaide, Melbourne and Port Adelaide. Of those I think North is more likely a 75% chance to win, Adelaide (improving) 65%, Melbourne (getting worse) 55% and Port Adelaide 50%.

Circumstances change quickly and we could beat anyone on the day but we seem to have a fairly tough run home IMHO.
