even though this is only a prac game, its absoloutly disgraceful to lose by that much with a full strength side.
how are we spose to get memebers by getting hammered?
Looks like we're going to lose round 1 by over 100

this seriously makes me sick, i have enough, our skill level has been the same since i can remember. It just seems impossible to improve at all.

you expect the new blokes to be able to stand up and do that now?

you think that the blokes that couldnt do it last year will be able to miraculously be able to do it now?

Hardwick has said 10% improvement per year.

If you have high expectations then you are gunna have a miserable year.

They have shown they can play the way hardwick wants, just not against a good side that are switched on.

They will be notoriously inconsistent, not just week to week, but quarter to quarter.

We will not worry any good side that turns up to play, but if they arent switched on we could upset them.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Tigerland09, WAT and X pull your heads in..

Wake up to reality..

There are countries with earthquakes, crime and poverty throughtout... we've lost a practice match against a full strength essendon outfit with about 10 players yet to debut for the club..

We have to accept this s going to happen more often than not this year.

The sooner we acknowledge that the easier it will be to support

Any chance we can talk about the positives instead of whinging how bad wee were?

How big are the holes in defence?
Roberts looks like he's done enough to play round 1
How was Browne?
How did our skipper play?
Has Thompson done enough to play round 1?
Cotchin? Martin? Vickory?
Who didn't look good?

What, you never thought it was going to happen a few times this year?
It's going to be quite common sadly this year  :help. I'd be really surprised if we don't come last.

Main one positive frm today is no injuries according to WP  :thumbsup.

WP's bests: "Lids, Simmo, Nason. Tambo was good in last qtr. Thought Gourdis show some really good signs."

Sadness and Dissapointment comes failnt to met expectations... Surely no1 expects us to do well this year?

Why can't people get excited about the development of a new breed: Roberts, Browne, Nason, Taylor, Martin etc. If you can't get slightly excited about the next breed you"re weak as pee. Everyone is quick to slam our players for not putting in and being soft; To fail to be excited and see the positives of some new players is just as soft.

Time for our supporters to change stop complaining and simply shut up.

Leave out the personal digs ppl! We're all not happy about being flogged.

Stick to just discussing the game.

12 months ago we beat Brisbane (in Qld) in our final practice match.....we all know what happened in rd 1.
2 years ago we got flogged by Geelong  in our final practice match.....and we ruined the Carlton/Chris Judd party in round 1.

In 2006 we beat the Bulldogs by plenty in a practice match only to recieve a 100 pt whacking a couple of weeks later in round 1.

Practice match form means nothing.

Why am I embarrassing myself.... Dad... I said I dont care about the result as it is a practice match but I am concerned about the apparent lack of intensity with the final score line and the fact we kicked 1 point to 7 goals in the last qtr. Do you think that the last qtr score line was acceptable???

BTW go join the Peace Core if you are that worried about mother nature and Wold crisis... :thumbsup

It's called perspective champ.

I'll cop criticism about my football side but it takes a pretty weak unit to call a bunch of teenagers against a full strength side that played finals last year pack of weak bastards.

Sorry champ but that's weak as pee. Weak as Ive seen..
