He reckons we're now getting better despite the fact we'll go backwards on the ladder this year. We're better off because we've made the decision to clean the decks and start again. While you don't bottom out you're going nowhere. But as far as our next premiership he says all you can predict is what year before they win their next premiership and that year is 2018. So at least another 8 year wait according to Healy.

8 years is lifetime in footy. Lids will be 30 by then and most of our current cubs will be 27+. If we aren't challenging in 5 years time then we've done something seriously wrong again as a Club and it'd be same old same old.

If we use free agency properly and develop our list properly in the meantime it should be much earlier than 2018, if we dont then 2018 may not be long enough!

we will bottom out by years end after we get rid of the remaining list cloggers on our list

we are in better shape this year without the likes of hacks like Brown, Sugar, Schulz, Petrified and JON on our list.

i cant remember a pre-season where first year players are playing better than the experienced ones.

Thats gotta be a good thing for us.

well you're 3 years in the negative, I may be 1 year in the positive. So we'll win it in 2014

If we have a good couple of drafts in the next 2 years 2013-18 is a reasonable window to strive for finals football.

2012 - 2018 will be our window if there is one  - You "I" would hope we will be around the mark from 2013 onwards ...
