For example, Richmond's Matthew Richardson was a veteran, which meant only half of his money was counted in the salary cap.

It's understood he was the sole Tigers player paid more than 500k, but Richmond had at least four players in the $400,000-$500,000 bracket.

Would have to be Brown & Bowden, probably Newman as captain too.
Would hate to think the 4th was Johnson given his output but you never know given he was ex-captain and ex-B&F

Bowden, Newman, Brown, Richardson, Deledio.

Maybe Sugar.

Would be my guess.

Deledio would be now, but he was on the last year of his previous contract last year so I don't think he would have been for 2009.
Those 4 players make the most sense given their seniority

Maybe its 5, maybe it's 3 or 4, but if there is 5 then I suggest that a few of those will be heavily front loaded contracts.
Deledio is a certainty, then Newman as captain. I'd suggest the results in the last B&F would give a pretty decent ranking of who's getting the big bucks

Well IMO Richo deserved every penny of his wage throughout his whole time, actually he deserved the wage of the others as well.... ;D

Fox sports listing that Richo was on an esitmated $600-700k on a heavily back ended final year
Ummm... he was on a one year contract, how to you heavily back end a one year contract?
Would have deserved it for his year in 2008 anyway
