My best so far, Cotchin, then daylight, Lids, Moore, McGaune, Thursty!
Vickery improved on last week, Post getting better after shocking start and Martin is showing why he is highly regarded!

Yes Connors was great IMO, Edwards gone, just no good at all, Edwards out for Polo, King........ geezus, Farmer would be ok if we had more talls. Again I will say it, why we went in with Edwards, Farmer and King is beyond me.

Jackson, Newman, Dedelio went well but gee our turnovers really kill us, oour skill level is country league at best, we really need to improve.

BTW how tough at the ball was Connors..... :shh :thumbsup ;D
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Seems the whisper in Connors ear about the defensive side of his game paid dividends as he made a few great efforts tonight to complement a good offensive output again.

Edwards was okay, certainly not a game that would warrant dropping him for anyone outside the 22.  Did nothing wrong, was better than more than half his teammates.

Cotchin was great, Lids was good, Newman and McGuane bounced back well from bad games last week and Martin is getting used to the pace of AFL.  Nason also must be kept in for the season.

Jackson was ordinary, below par, and he still kills us with his failure to hit targets in wide open situations.   Would prefer Tuck, and that's saying something.

Post, King, Riewoldt, Hislop, Nahas and Farmer fail to get pass marks.

My changes for next week:
Out: Nahas, King, (Connors [if injured])
In: Webberley, Cousins, (Polo)
EAT EM ALIVE!

I realise today were the usual things like skill level and lack of individual strength but the other thing that i assumed is coached is positional play. Time after time the ball came out of a pack on the ground or from a marking pack and it fell straight to a bulldogs player. Can someone let me know whether this is freakish luck or are our players simply always the wrong place and just very bad at reading the play?

We had just as bad, if not worse, losses against the Dogs last year, yet with a far more mature side. Simmo got worst on ground again today and he was our only player out there over 30. He's a liability out there, we need to drop him which means we'll have an even younger side moving forward. Effort was better today but skill let us down.

We are hopeless.
NOT ONE POSITION CHANGE for the game, you work that out !
