Actually just at the minute FNM I reckon it isn't the kids letting us down it is senior blokes. Scary thing is our senior blokes apart from Newman, Simmonds & Moore are all under 24 years old

I truly believe this coaching tenure is make or break for the RFC. Hardwick & the club appear to be sticking to a process that no doubt is going to take time. I remember the back lash Ross Lyon copped in his first year, and he had a heap of talent at his disposal...

I am intrigued to see where we are at in 10 rounds time with hopefully the likes of Dea, Astbury, Griffiths & maybe even Taylor playing some footy alongside a match fit Cotchin, Deledio, Foley etc. I think thats when we get an insight into how far away we are.

When Coburg is full of players such as Nahas, Edwards, King, Hislop etc we should be in a better place.

I'm still not confident that we can extract ourselves out of this mire though.

But I'd rather have an us versus them mentality than us with them

I thought tambling was OK last night (brillant compared to last week  ). Constantly put his body on the line while some others stood back and gave him little or no support. Needs to played of the HBF IMHO

But I undestand people's frustration with him.

Until these "kids" realise that its a privilege and not a right to get a game with us, we are going no where. Whether it be abiding by club rules even if youve had a "really good " first game, or getting a haircut and making it look like you want to have a red hot go, rather than prancing around on the "G" like a little boy on a big stage. Show no mercy Hardwick, if you believe they are capable of playing AFL football then  the time for molly coddling is over. If they are not ready, they shouldnt be out there. The soft touch gets us the likes of Deledio and Tambling, who should by now be leading the way, instead, all they show is flashes of brilliance when they feel up to it.
I, like a hell of a lot of other supporters, am fed up. Give me a reason to go and watch them this year, show me changes, even subtle ones and I'll get keen again, till then, i'll take my knitting to the game.

Your having a dip trying to tackle players twice your size and twice as fast as you. The attempted tackles would have been the highest its been for some time

i want to see griffiths, astbury, taylor, roberts, dae, webberley, grimes, contin and gourdis in the side before we start writing up the demise of the club ... thats 9 players right there, even if only 3 or 4 of come good then we wont be in as bad a place as many are making out!
