We dont need to recruit a hero, we need one off our list to make himself one, but who?

Who indeed?
I don't mind if we recruit one if indeed they are the hero.
The club needs better players & we must keep an open mind as to how we get them.

The most annoying thing we keep hearing from these journalists is that we are about to go through a rebuild. That is completely wrong because we are in the final stages of rebuilding our list with young talent. When someone says rebuild, that means an almost complete list turnover. There's only about 5 or 6 players i'd even think about delisting at the end of the year. If we happen to finish last we still get pick 4 I think so we'll get a very good player again. I'd say we should go for another quality midfielder and a ruckman with our first 2 picks and look at elevating Gourdis and Gilligan and maybe others. I think by the end of this year our list will have huge potential especially after getting games into Post, Astbury and Griffiths. These journalists will look silly in 12 months  8)

6 is a bit light on i would have thought another 10 or so would be closer to the reality

Unless we trade away someone like Newman or Moore, I can't see much more than 6 delistings at the end of the year.
Not unreasonable given how diluted the draft will be thanks to GC's domination of the draft
It should be a reasonably strong draft though so should go deeper than before which will hopefully make up for it
