Lift Cousins suspension v Melb !!
« on: April 15, 2010, 03:22:38 PM »
Seriously, wtf has this club come to.

Jobbing a guy that was out of control and disrespecting his team mates not to mention himself does not warrant a weeks suspension.

Clearly there is an issue with Daniel and alcohol that has been a dark secret for probably the duration of his tile at the club.

The fact that the club has DONE NOTHING prior to this incident is the true crime here.

Why not reprimand the administration publicly ?

Ethically Ben could sue the club for restraint of trade and contributing to the lack of safety of not only him and his team mates but the general public.

Is this the same club that let the captain, kane johnson, decide he deserved a week off for urinating on the wall of a cop shop?

Lift his ban v Melb for the sake of a possibly competitive game and the further development of the kids.

That's just it, it is no longer the same club, here's hoping anyway!

Poor Benny, Poor Benny ,Poor Benny, Poor Benny....

Ben never runs out of people who are willing to make excuses for him...I know I live in Perth.

Ben is 32 years old this year....time to grow up FFS

Its just not that hard to stay out out of trouble.

Is there a thread where we put the silly threads?
This one should be sent there now!!

Three things:  No it isn't the same club.  Cuz admitted he was at fault.  And finally, if we backed down now we might as well give the whole thing up forever.

but in this case Mat, its justified, damned if he does, damned if he doesnt. This isnt a fishbowl like perth, he is one of many but unfortunately he is a headline. Tried to do the right thing, but is crucified anyway. This wasn't trouble of his doing, it was Connors, but he gets stuffed anyway....whats he to do?

This thread's a wind up right?
Cuz to sue the Tiges for restrait of trade?? :lol
Cousins has Richmond to thank for where he is right now.
He may be a rockstar in the press but like Connors, McGuane & Polo, he's just another player on the RFC list and has to abide by what the club says.

FFS he got a week.  One measly little week.  Well done to the Club for not putting up with nonsense.

Read hardwick's comments if you want some fair minded ideas.

whats he do ?? l suppose he will have the poos with the club 2 times now & wont be at the club next year ??  but will be hurting us on the field somewhere else in a side close to winning a premiership.
But l dont care regardless you either wanna be at Richmond or not

Richmond is not a tell all club  ;D players miss games sometimes because of club suspensions that we're not told about " Supposed Injuries"  ;D :shh
Sometimes they get to carry Rocks  :shh l suppose it better than pushing cars around  :rollin
Oh & not forgetting those who dont wanna play under a certain coach who was getting ahead of himself  ;D

Pot Kettle

Kids have gone backwards and Ben's inclusion has done nothing to change it so what worth is he to the team.

Nice guy glad we got him but i hope he plays only a few games for the rest of the season. Goodbye Ben
